All in a Day's Work While Phil Hellmuth may have been eliminated from the 2012 Main Event on Day 1A, he is back today in the Amazon Room. He is currently on the ESPN Main Stage filming a commercial. Old School vs. New School James "JCamby" Campbell (left) looks on as Erik Seidel shows a set of fives to win a pot. Campbell is an online tournament legend while Seidel is a Poker Hall of Fame member and one of the most widely respected players in the world. This marks Seidel's 25th time playing in the Main Event Championship. No Rest for the Weary Sam Stein is in the middle of a grueling few days of poker. Yesterday, he was one of the eight players to make the final table of the WSOP National Championship. The final table is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, so all eight were forced to play their Day 1 of the Main Event today. GSP Day 1B of the 2012 Main Event was kicked off by none other than mixed-martial arts superstar Georges St-Pierre. After announcing the "Shuffle Up and Deal", St-Pierre took his seat to play the Main Event. Let's Chat Actor and comedian Kevin Pollak is taking his first shot this year at the Main Event. Into the Muck Ryan Eriquezzo (left) looks on as Justin Gardenhire mucks his hand in the WSOP National Championship. Gardenhire would end up finishing in 9th place while Eriquezzo would move on to the final table on Wednesday. The Reigning Champ The 2011 Main Event Champion Pius Heinz has started his run at a repeat on Day 1A. Currently, Heinz is seated at the Main Stage feature table. Rastinator on the Bubble In the Brasilia Room, the WSOP National Championship is on the money bubble. Here we take a look at the room from the view of Brian Rast. Rast won two bracelets last year and final tabled the Big One for One Drop. He is currently fourth in chips and looking for yet another bracelet. Everybody Loves Him A number of stars come out to take their shot at the WSOP Main Event. One of the regulars that comes every year is actor Ray Romano. Cool as Ice Roberto Luongo, goaltender for the NHL's Vancouver Canucks, takes his seat on Day 1A of the 2012 Main Event. There are 1400 entries in the photo blog.
