While there isn’t a “worst” starting hand, especially if you are playing Hi/Lo, there are a couple of hands that a player might choose to throw away. The best way to learn what these are is simply to play the game. For the beginner, it is best to play for free on online tables. Always be aware of the three best possible hands on the board, and as the board develops, remain aware of how the next card may change those hands.
