Tulsa, Oklahoma (25 March 2019) - A packed Sunday of action at Circuit Hard Rock Tulsa offered extensive action in four separate ring events. Two of those events, each a single-day tourney, played to a winner, while the final two events on the Hard Rock Tulsa slate -- the $1,000,000 Guaranteed Main Event and the $3,250 High Roller, played deep into the night as their Monday finales approach.

In Event #12, $400 No-Limit Hold'em (1 Day), Kansas City, Missouri's Andre Allen put the wrapping on a huge Tulsa series by taking down his first-ever Circuit title. Allen already made two other final tables this series, garnering second- and fourth-place finishes, and added a cash in a fourth event.

In the unofficial ring event $250 No-Limit Hold'em Seniors II, open only to players age 50 and up, Edmond, Oklahoma's Louise Quintana survived a lengthy see-saw heads-up duel to win her own first Circuit ring and $10,851.

However, the largest news came out of the ongoing Main Event, where 11-time Circuit ring winner Maurice Hawkins also made his third final table of the series, leading six surviving players into Monday's Day 3 finish. Hawkins bagged 4,860,000 million in chips to give himself the inside track to this event's $215,000 winner's payday, and for Hawkins, another chance to tie Valentin Vornicu atop the all-time Circuit victories list.

Action also began in Event #13, $3,250 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller. Donnie Phan leads the returning players as late registration remains open until Day 2 play begins.

Both the Main Event and the High Roller resume action at noon at Monday.

MONDAY'S SCHEDULE

Ring Events:

Noon - Day 3 of Event #10 (Main Event)

Noon - Day 2 of Event #13 (No-Limit Hold'em High Roller)

CASINO CHAMPION UPDATE

Andre Allen's win in Event #12 gives him am impressive 120 points and the lead entering the series' final day, though the Casino Champion title hinges on Maurice Hawkins' showing in the Main Event. If Hawkins (who already has 82.5 points and who leads the final six players) wins the Main Event, Allen wins the Casino Champion title and seat. Allen also wins the Casino Champion title if Hawkins is first of the six to bust from Monday's Main Event finale. Otherwise, Hawkins will earn enough points and tie-breaker edge to overtake Allen for this series' title.
