February 17, 2018 (Coconut Creek, Fla.) -- Andrew Pacifico is the overall chip leader after two starting flights of the WSOP Circuit Coconut Creek Main Event. He will start Day 2 with (493,000) and likely would have bagged a slightly smaller stack before a player shoved 140,000 into a 20,000 pot with a combo draw against Pacifico’s top set.

Pacifico will lead the final 155 into Day 2 which restarts Sunday at noon local time.

Day 1A of this event drew 370 players and saw Scott Efron bag the chip lead with 253,500 with 70 players making it through the flight. The Day 1B flight added another 457 for a total number of 827 with 85 making it through the Day 1B flight. The final 90 players will make the money and earn a cash of $2,804 for their efforts. With the top prize being $241,898 and a WSOP circuit ring.

This is the first-ever WSOP circuit event at this Seminole Coconut Creek property and it easily surpassed the $1,000,000 guarantee. The current Casino Champion leader, Martin Ryan made it through Day 1A, managing to bag 130,000 in a short period of time after late registering for Day 1A because he was busy booking a win in the $3,250 High Roller Event.

Ryan joins Ben Zamani (119,000), Jerry Wong (132,500), and David Prociak (164,000) as players who made it through Day 1A. Darryll Fish, who wanted to bag Day 1A so he could celebrate his birthday on Saturday, bagged 30,000.

Andrew Kelsall (104,500), Mukul Pahuja (134,500), Tristan Wade (97,500), Matt Stout (91,000), Raminder Singh (135,500), and Phil Hui (62,500) are some of the notable names who bagged from the Day 1B flight.

Despite winning her fourth WSOP circuit ring this circuit series, Loni Harwood failed to bag either day of the Main. Ari Engel, Brian Hastings, Andre Akkari, Jonathan Hilton, Neil Blumenfield, and Joshua Beckley also failed to bag either day of the Main Event. A former Dallas Cowboy and Super Bowl Champion, Thomas Henderson also failed to bag Day 2, after an impressive start he eventually was eliminated in a three-way pot by Nicholas Mahabee, who finished with (200,000).
