Monday brings a close to play at Circuit Harrah's Cherokee, with final-day play in Event #10, No-Limit Hold'em Main Event, and Event #12, $365 Double Stack No-Limit Hold'em.

Cherokee, NC (23 April 2018) --It's Day 12 at Circuit Harrah's Cherokee and action concludes with the final tables in two ring events. Event #10, the Main Event, will see 19 players returning for Day 3 action, led by former WSOP bracelet and Ciruit ring winner Jonathan Hilton. Hilton returns to a narrow lead with 2,175,000 in chips to start the day.

Today also sees the winner determined in the last ring event on the Cherokee slate. That's Event #12, $365 Double Stack No-Limit Hold'em, where 36 players return. On top of the counts for this event's Day 2 is Robert Gunter, at 566,000.

One Circuit ring was awarded on Sunday, in the unofficial ring event $250 Seniors II No-Limit Hold'em. Atlanta broadcast pro Rick Joyner won the ring and $25,404 while playing his very first WSOP event.

Steven Snyder continues to lead the Global Casino Championship race in Cherokee with 92.5 points through 10 of 12 official events. Kyrzsztof Stybaniewicz has moved into second place with 57.5 points.
