WSOP EUROPE STARTS FOUR WEEKS TODAY

LAS VEGAS/ROZVADOV, Czech Republic – September 21, 2017 – The first-ever WSOP Europe in the Czech Republic kicks off four weeks today at King’s Casino in Rozvadov with 11 official WSOP gold bracelet events and €18 million in prize pool guarantees. 

The biggest and richest poker festival in Europe this year is set to kick off on Thursday, October 19 with the €1,100 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold’em event.  The series runs non-stop through November 10.

In a week, the WSOP Circuit stops in Rozvadov with 14 official gold ring events and more than €3 million in guarantees.  So from September 28 through November 10, non-stop WSOP action comes to central Europe. A lot of great content is planned from WSOP Europe as well.  PokerNews has signed on to be the official live reporting outlet for the event.  So fans can follow all the bracelet event action via PokerNews.com and/or WSOP.com throughout the duration of the 22-day festival. 

Robust live streaming is planned as well, with 14 total days of coverage.  Both King’s and WSOP will offer free live streaming coverage of the majority of the bracelet events.  Coverage begins when the official final tables are reached or that day’s play gets underway, all on a 30-minute delay with hole cards.  The live streaming schedule is as follows:

In addition to live streaming, the Main Event and High Roller for One Drop are being taped for television.

How to get to King’s Casino. Rozvadov, Czech Republic 

By air: There are direct flights from just about every European capital to Prague (Czech Republic), Nuremberg airport (Germany) and Munich airport (Germany) - all around two hours’ drive from Rozvadov. Many budget airlines also operate regularly on these routes. US airlines commonly connect to Prague and Munich.
