WSOP CIRCUIT BIKE STARTS THURSDAY

Ring Events Run From Thursday, December 1 Through Tuesday, December 13

Bell Gardens, CA (November 29, 2016) - The final World Series of Poker Circuit stop of the calendar year gets underway on Thursday afternoon at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles. There will be 12 rings awarded in just under a two-week span.

Action kicks off on Thursday, December 1 with a $365 no-limit hold’em and will conclude with the simultaneous finish of the $3,250 no-limit hold’em high roller event and the Circuit’s staple, a $1,675 no-limit hold’em main event.

Last year, Valentin Vornicu won the main event at this stop. He defeated a field of 641 players to earn one of his eight rings and $197,110.

Like every other stop, two seats into the Global Casino Championship will be earned during the series. The winner of the main event and the Casino Champion will each earn a seat into the Global Casino Championship next year.

Aside from what is expected to be a massive main event and a big payday for the high roller winner, the series is highlighted by a $365 no-limit hold’em monster stack event with four starting flights over the first weekend. With two starting flights on Saturday, December 3, and another two starting flights on Sunday, December 4, the tournament carries a $250,000 guaranteed prizepool. The survivors of their flights will come back on Monday, December 5 to play down to a winner.

The only non-hold’em event takes place on Tuesday, December 6. A $365 Omaha Hi-Lo event gets underway at 3 p.m. and is scheduled to finish on Wednesday. There is a two-day $1,125 no-limit hold’em event on Thursday, December 8, which is the third biggest buy-in on the schedule.

For those players that don’t want to have to play two full days, the sole one-day turbo event gets underway at 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, just a few hours after the start of the $1,125 no-limit hold’em.
