CIRCUIT ACTION UNDERWAY AT PBKC! FOLLOW ALONG
West Palm Beach, Fla. (September 17, 2015) — Day 1 of the Palm Beach Kennel Club World Series of Poker Circuit series is nearing its end. Action kicked off for the sixth-consecutive year at the South Florida property Thursday at noon local time with Event #1, a $365 Monster Stack tournament. Although it paled in comparison to the Club’s multi-flight re-entry openers of the past, Event #1 drew a stout field that has players and staff alike eagerly awaiting Friday’s signature event.

Continuing the action on opening day was Event #2, a $365 HORSE tournament that began at 5 p.m. The clock currently reads 40 players remaining with about five hours to go on Day 1. Just the top six players finish in the money and tournament staff expects this event to be short of the bubble when the hard stop hits following Level 21.

The series opening events will log a few more levels each before wrapping at roughly 2:15 a.m. Complete End of Day 1 chip counts as well as updated results (where applicable) will be posted in the morning.

Circuit action resumes at the PBKC Friday at noon with the first of four starting flights in the much-anticipated $580 re-entry event.

Here’s a look at Friday’s full schedule:
  • 12 p.m. Event #3A: $580 Re-Entry - Flight A
