Hammond, Ind. (October 23, 2015) — Colossus champion Cord Garcia stole the show Thursday at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind. Just months after besting a record-breaking 22,000-entry field in poker’s largest-ever tournament, Garcia broke through for his second gold ring win in the property’s $1,125 no-limit hold’em tournament.

Running alongside the $1K event was Day 1 of Event #8, a $365 Omaha 8 tournament. A stout field of 168 players that played down to just 33 remaining.
