DAY 4 OF HORSESHOE HAMMOND

Hammond, Ind. (October 18, 2015) — It’s Day 4 of the World Series of Poker Circuit at Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind. Action kicks off at noon CT with Day 1 of Event #2, a $580 no-limit hold’em tournament. Things continue at 5 p.m. with Day 1 of Event #3, a $580 pot-limit Omaha event. In between, the day is headlined by Day 2 of Event #1, a $365 re-entry tournament with nine $1,675 Main Event seats added.

The tournament began Thursday with the first of three starting flights. Day 1s concluded with yesterday’s 1,000-entry Flight C bringing the three-flight total to 2,211 entries generating a prize pool of better than $660,000. Today, just 263 remain with 225 finishing in the money. In addition to $101,190, the tournament’s champion pockets a Circuit gold ring and 50 points toward the Casino Championship.

Players return for Day 2 at 2 p.m. with Chicago’s Dan Loizzo leading the way.

Sunday’s ring events

Noon - Event #2: $580 no-limit hold’em - Day 1

-One $1,675 Main Event seat added
-$580 buy-in gets players 12,000 chips
-Registration remains open through Level 8 (until about 4:15 p.m.)
-A one-hour dinner break occurs after Level 12 (at about 6:30 p.m.)
-Day 1 is set to conclude following Level 21 (at about 2 a.m.)
-Levels 1-12 are 30 minutes, Levels 13-21 are 40 minutes, all remaining levels are 50 minutes
-Advancing players return for Day 2 Monday at 2 p.m.

2 p.m. - Event #1: $365 Re-Entry - Day 2

-Nine $1,675 Main Event seats added ($15,075 value)
-263 players remain, 225 pay
-Dan Loizzo leads, Josh Reichard sixth; Prince Gaspard, Cory Waaland still alive
-Min-cash earns $716; winner’s share totals $101,190, a Circuit gold ring and 50 points toward Casino Championship

5 p.m. - Event #3: $580 pot-limit Omaha - Day 1

-One $1,675 Main Event seat added
-$580 buy-in gets players 12,000 chips
-Registration remains open through Level 8 (until about 9:30 p.m.)
-Day 1 is set to conclude following Level 16 (at about 3 a.m.)
-Levels 1-10 are 30 minutes, Levels 11-19 are 40 minutes, all remaining levels are 50 minutes
-Advancing players return for Day 2 Monday at 3 p.m.

The day’s non-ring events

-9:30 a.m. - $80 Early Bird turbo ($500 buy-in chip added)
-3 p.m. - $200 no-limit hold’em (one $1,675 Main Event seat added)
-7 p.m. - $150 Nightly no-limit hold’em (one $1,675 Main Event seat added)
