FLIGHT B AND C CONCLUDE IN CHEROKEE

Event #1 - $365 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry already has 1,420 entries and one starting flight still remains.

Cherokee, N.C. (November 27, 2015) --  The first event is well underway at Harrah's Cherokee. The first two of four starting flights are now complete and the third starting flight is just a few hours away from bagging for the night. In total, the first three starting flights drew 1,420 players. The tournament only needs 247 players to reach the $500,000 guaranteed prizepool.

The final flight of the tournament is Flight D. Flight D begins Saturday at 11 a.m. Registration remains open until the start of Level 9, which will be about 3:30 p.m. Players are allowed unlimited re-entry in what is one of the biggest tournaments on the WSOP Circuit.

Chip counts from Flight C will be posted Saturday. Shotly after the conclusion of Flight D, a prizepool will be posted and announced. There will be a minimum $500,000 prizepool, but it is looking like it will be much higher than that.

Poker action will start back up Saturday at 9 a.m. with the $65 Mega Satellite into Flight D of Event #1 - $365 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry. Here is a look at tomorrow's gold ring schedule:

  • 11 a.m. - Event #1 - $365 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry ($500,000 Guarantee) - Flight D
  • 4 p.m. - Event #2 - $365 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo ($25,000 Guarantee) - Day 1
