BIG GUARANTEES AT HARRAH

All 12 gold ring events have a guaranteed prizepool, including the $1 million guaranteed Main Event.

Cherokee, N.C. (November 23, 2015) -- The WSOP Circuit is headed back to Harrah's Cherokee for the third time in 2015. The Circuit was there in April for one of the final stops of the 2014-2015 WSOP Circuit. The WSOP was then back in Cherokee again in July for the 2015 National Championship.

The National Championship was won by long time WSOP grinder, Loni Harwood. She won $341,599 and her second WSOP gold bracelet for that win. The WSOP Circuit is headed back to Cherokee starting this Thursday and it is bringing with it hefty guarantees to every gold ring event.

All 12 official gold ring events will have a minimum $25,000 guaranteed prizepool with many prizepools guaranteeing much more than that. The series kicks off with a $500,000 guaranteed $365 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry event. This tournament will feature four starting flights and allow unlimited re-entry. The series' biggest guaranteed prizepool is the $1 million guaranteed Main Event. The Main Event has a $1,675 buy-in and features two starting flights. Players are allowed up to one re-entry per starting flight for a total of four entries.

Accompanying the official gold ring events at this year's series will be two seniors events and one ladies event. This stop has been known for producing the largest seniors events on the Circuit. In April the Seniors event drew a staggering 1,237 entries. Both of the seniors events at this year's series have a $250 buy-in. The first one is Sunday, Nov. 29 at 9 a.m. This seniors event has a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. The second seniors event will be Sunday, Dec. 6 at 9 a.m. The Ladies events will be Saturday, Dec. 5 at 1 p.m. and feature a $135 buy-in.

As the series nears all eyes will be on the highly anticipated opening re-entry event. This event drew nearly 3,000 players last April and is expected to be big again. Chris Russell from Chattanooga, Tenn. took this event down in April and won just over $125,000 for it. In total, he won 343 times his original buy-in.

Good luck to all players planning to participate in one of the Circuit's top stops. More information on the casino and hotel can be found on the Harrah's Cherokee website.
