WSOP CIRCUIT BICYCLE CASINO MAIN EVENT STARTS SATURDAY

The WSOP Circuit at the Bicycle Casino is nearing its conclusion with only the $1,675 No Limit Hold'em main event and the $3,250 High Roller No Limit Hold'em left to kick off.

Mark Leblanc Leads Day 2 of $365 Monster Stack No Limit

The final preliminary event kicked off on Friday at noon with a 357 players putting up the buy-in in the last preliminary event of the series. After 21 scheduled levels of play, the field was trimmed down to the final 22 players, with Mark Leblanc leading the field with 875,000.

They burst the money bubble in level 19, with the top 36 players earning a payday of at least $555. When play resumes on Saturday, everybody remaining is guaranteed $920, but everybody has their eyes set on the $24,625 first place prize that comes with a Circuit ring.

Wendy Freedman Extends Lead in Casino Championship Race

Wendy Freedman started the day with 75 points and the lead in the Casino Championship race, but after bagging chips in the monster stack, she has locked up another 5 points and extended her lead in the race. This is Freedman's third cash of the series and has two runner-up finishes in earlier events. Regardless of her finish, she is in the driver's seat to earn the automatic seat into the Global Casino Championship.

Alan Myerson now sits at least 20 points behind in second place with 60 points and there is a log jam in third place, with eight players tied with 50 points each after winning rings in their respective events.

Day 1A of the Main Event Starts on Saturday

The first of two starting days for the $1,675 No Limit Hold'em main event gets underway on Saturday at noon. During last season's Circuit schedule, this event drew 669 players, generating a prizepool just over $1 million. It was Gevork Kasabyan bested the field and took home $205,720, a Circuit ring and an automatic seat into the Global Casino Championship.

The final table of this event will be streamed on Live at the Bike, while WSOP.com will provide live updates throughout the entire event. 

High Roller Event Starts on Monday

The final event on the Circuit schedule starts on Monday with the $3,250 High Roller No Limit Hold'em. The High Roller events are new to the Circuit, but have seen good turnouts so far, most recently with over 100 players last month at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
