2014-2015 CIRCUIT SEASON CONTINUES THURSDAY AT IP BILOXI
Biloxi, Miss. (September 2, 2014) — The World Series of Poker Circuit returns to IP Casino Resort and Spa this Thursday, September 4, and runs 12 consecutive days concluding Monday, September 15. In that time, 12 gold rings will be earned and two National Championship berths will be doled out to the IP Casino Champion and the Main Event champion.

Opening weekend is headlined by the three-start-flight $365 no-limit hold’em re-entry tournament. Last year, Tam Nguyen bested 571 entries in a similarly structured tournament to transform his $365 buy-in into a $35,978 first prize.

This year’s premiere tournament — the $1,675 Main Event — follows on closing weekend. The first of two start flights begins Friday, September 12 at 12 p.m. and the second flight continues on Saturday. Last year’s champion, Martin Zenter, came out on top of 302 entries to don his first Circuit ring and a $106,455 first prize. In addition to an expected six-figure first prize, this year’s Main Event champion earns an automatic berth in the National Championship. There, they’ll join the IP Casino Champion to compete for an up-to $2 million prize pool and a gold bracelet under the bright lights of the ESPN stage.

Other notable events on the IP schedule include a no-limit hold’em six-handed event and a pot-limit Omaha event. Additionally, $65 satellites for the day’s $365 ring event begin at 10 each morning.
