A NEW CIRCUIT CHAMPION TO BE CROWNED
Day Two of the Horseshoe Southern Indiana Circuit Main Event started with 125 players and would see a day a lead shift and Casino Champion points maneuvering.

Veteran professional Kathy Liebert would spend most of the afternoon working her way up the chip counts.  For most of the evening, Liebert led the field.  However, the end of Day Two was not kind to Liebert, as she finished in 20th chip position with 89,000.

Another seasoned pro, Dan Heimiller, also spent most of the day near the top of the leaderboard.  Heimiller would end Day Two with a stack of 374,000, good for 7th place overall.

When play came to an end, one player had completely taken control of the tournament.  Chad Eveslage bagged 840,000 chips at the end of play, over 200,000 more than his closest competitor.  Eveslage, who final tabled the $365 No-Limit Hold ‘em Event 8 this week for his first career WSOP Circuit cash, is looking to score the $117,300 first place prize.  However, a fifth place finish or higher would secure the biggest cash of his poker career.

Casino Champion Points Update

With the elimination of Aaron Massey in 3rd place at the $365 No-Limit Hold ‘em final table, he officially takes over the Horseshoe Southern Indiana Casino Champion points race with 80 total points.

As it stands, only two people have a chance to catch him.

John Taitt has 50 points in the Casino Champion race.  He is currently third in chips in the Main Event and can tie Massey with a 7th place finish. Any place better than 7th gives Taitt the lead.  A 5th place finish or better locks up the automatic National Championship seat for Taitt.

Jonathan Taylor is the current at large points leader in the National Championship race and has 35 points at Horseshoe Southern Indiana stop. He can tie Massey with a third place finish and would take the lead with a 2nd place finish.

If Taitt or Taylor win the Main Event, their points would not matter towards the points race as they would win an automatic seat.

If Taylor does not finish 3rd or better and Taitt does not finish 7th or better, then Massey will be the Casino Champion.

Play is set to resume at 1pm tomorrow and play to a champion.
