Main Event 101
Only 101 players remain in the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event.
At the dinner break on Day 6 Darvin Moon was in the lead with 5,700,000. Antoine Saout and Hamid Nourafchan are tied for the second spot with 4,810,000. Wesley Ismay and Billy Kopp round out the top five with 4,200,000 and 4,095,000. Places six through ten belong to Steven Begleiter and Charlie Elias with 4,000,000 each, Eugene Katchalov with 3,600,000, Fabrice Soulier with 3,550,000 and Ryan Fair with 3,330,000.

Reigning champion Peter Eastgate is the last former winner still in the field. 2005 winner Joe Hachem was eliminated in 105th place when he ran his     into Kopp's    . The board ran out           ending Hachem's bid for a repeat win.

Two women still remain, Leo Margets of Barcelona and Nichoel Peppe of California. This year the last woman standing will recieve a trophy courtesy of WickedChopsPoker.com that includes the names of all previous last ladies standing beginning with Marsha Waggoner in 1986.

Dennis Phillips, who came in third last year, is still in the running, as is Phil Ivey, Joe Sebok, Kenny Tran, Antonio Esfandiari, Tom Schneider and Prahlad Friedman.

Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, David Benyamine, Theo Tran, JC Tran and Eric Cloutier were all sent to the rail before the dinner break.
