April 21st 2019 (Cherokee, NC) - After ten levels of play, Day 2 of the World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event at Harrah's Cherokee is in the books with only 10 players remaining.
 
The day started with a total of 136 survivors and within the first level of the day, the money bubble burst.

Both players check on the     flop and the   comes on the turn. There, Sherfin leads out with a bet of 225,000. McIlvain calls. 

On the   river, Sherfin checks then instantly calls a bet of 100,000 from McIlvain. McIlvain shows his    and Sherfin quickly mucks.

The flop is     and McIlvain checks. Wexler puts out a bet of 150,000 and McIlvain calls. 

The turn is the   and McIlvain checks again. Wexler now puts out a bet of 340,000 and McIlvain calls again. 

On the   river, McIlvain checks a third time. Wexler goes for a third bullet, making it 400,000. McIlvain calls again but mucks when Wexler shows his    for a flopped set.

Spencer Champlin raises to 115,000 from middle position. Jonas Wexler, in the hijack, calls. Aaron Gunn, on the cutoff, three-bets to 350,000. Champlin calls. Wexler four-bet shoves for about 5,500,000. Gunn calls, with his last 1,865,000. Champlin folds.

Noah Shefrin opens on the button with a raise to 125,000. Spencer Champlin calls in the small blind and Steven Grybas calls in the big blind. 

The flop is     and all three player check to see the   on the turn. There, Champlin leads out with a bet of 225,000. Grybas folds but Sherfin calls. 

On the   river, Champlin leads out again, betting 700,000. Sherfin thinks it over for sometime before letting go and allowing Champlin to take down the pot. 

Just a few hands later, Thomas Minnich-Weber opens to 115,000 and Spencer Champlin calls in the cutoff. Jonas Wexler calls in the big blind so the three take a flop. 

The flop is     and Wexler checks. Minnich-Weber puts out a bet of 150,000 and Champlin is the only caller. 

On the   turn, Minnich-Weber checks and Champlin decides to put out a bet of 130,000. Minnich-Weber calls. 

The river is the   and Minnich-Weber checks once more. Champlin puts out a bet of 420,000 and after some deliberation, Minnich-Weber calls. Champlin shows his    and that's good enough to earn him the pot.

The flop comes down     and Poe checks over to Wexler who puts out a bet. Poe calls. 

The turn is the   and Poe checks for a second time. Wexler puts out another bet. This time Poe moves all in and Wexler thinks for a bit before he calls.

Poe has a straight as well as a flush redraw, and while it looks like he might double up, the river is the   filling Wexler up. Stacks are counted and with just a bit less than Wexler, Poe is sent to the rail. For his 11th place finish he will collect $24,027.

On the   turn, Anderson now checks to Slaughter. Slaughter bets 375,000. Hernz calls while Anderson quickly gets away. 

The river is the   and Slaughter slows down with a check. Hernz then moves all in for 735,000. Slaughter thinks about it for over a minute before she finally puts in the chips to call. 

Hernz shows    for a full house and Slaughter flashes her    for trip queens, which is no good. Slaughter is cut down to just a short stack while Hernz moves to nearly three million.
