$1,700 no-limit Hold’em tournament attracted 735 entries that created a
prize pool of $1,113,525 easily surpassing the $1,000,000 guarantee.
The eventual champion will take home a first place prize worth $222,691. On
top of that, the tournament’s winner earns a gold ring and a berth in
the prestigious Global Casino Championship where they’ll compete for a
WSOP bracelet.
Following
two starting flights over two consecutive days, the field is down to
162 players with Harry O'Brien leading the way. O'Brien lays claim to a
monster stack of 589,500 and has a slight lead on Day 1A chip leader
