On a board reading       Richard Lee led out for 2,000 into two players. One opponent folded, but one was stubborn enough to throw in two yellow 1,000-denomination chips to signify a call. "If you have the flush you have me" said Lee's opponent. "No you got it" announced Lee as he turned over his    for a busted straight draw and rivered pair. His opponent turned over    for a flopped set of treys and the pot to leave Lee on less then 2,000 in chips.

Blair Hinkle raised to 400 from middle position and Phil Laak quickly reraised to 1,300. Action folded back to Hinkle who decided his hand wasn't worth the extra chips, handing the small pot to the Unabomber.

After chipping up to over 7,000 early, Phil Hellmuth has been nowhere to be seen. He arrived an hour late, played for 20 minutes and then departed once again. So far his stack has dwindled down to just on 5,000, and with the blinds still low he isn't at too much risk. The question is . . . where is he?

We walked by just as Gavin Smith moved his stack into the middle on a flop of    . His opponent called and showed    for the draw against Smith's top pair with   . The   on the turn took the hand away from Smith and he was up from the table before the meaningless   landed on the river. Also eliminated from the table was Emily Jillette who got all in preflop with pocket queens only to find herself against kings. She didn't improve, and her day ended early.

We made our way back to the Miranda room where Eli Elezra had made a late entrance. When we caught up with him, he had just 1,400 chips and called a raise of 250 from out of the small blind. He and his opponents checked a flop of    , and Elezra check-folded after a bet of 500 at the   on the turn. Our PokerNews reporter walked over to see that Dennis Phillips and his once occupied seat was now . . . empty. Looking round at the table it was apparent that Liv Boeree had chipped up and consequently our reporter asked her of what had happened to Phillips. Boeree explained that she opened under the gun with    and was reraised next to speak by a player holding   . With the action on Phillips, he moved all in for not much more also holding   . Once it was back on Boeree she shipped it all in over the top to find a call to see both her and Phillips at risk. Just one Queen on the flop would be all Boeree needed, and as she finished explaining the hand she commented, "poker is an easy game, just get it in bad and you win" If you think Liv Boeree can only knock out her opponents on the felt - you should be sure to check out her moves in the ring. Coming up in a few short days, Boeree will be taking on PokerNews TV Host Melissa Castello in a girl-on-girl boxing match not to be missed! For the details, check out the video here.

With players starting with only 4,500 in chips, its hard to get some momentum early. Across the room, Jennifer Tilly and Layne Flack were chatting about Italian food when they started tangling in a pot. Flack made it 325 to go from early position and Tilly called from the hijack, bringing a flop of    . Flack bet 600 and Tilly called. The   on the turn brought a 1,000 bet from Flack, and another call from Tilly. Both players checked the   on the river, before Flack announced "Two pair" and showed   . Tilly tabled    for a better two pair, and took the pot. She has about 8,000 while Flack is down to 1,700.
