This year the World Series of Poker Europe is getting a change of scenery as the event heads north to Paris. Casino Barriere in Enghien-les-Bains will play host to eight gold bracelet events from October 11th to October 25th. Located just eight kilometers from the center of Paris, this 100 year old casino will provide a gorgeous lakeside backdrop for one of the biggest tournament series of the year.
This year's series includes a first-ever Ladies event to open up the series on October 11, followed by a €1,000 re-entry event on opening weekend October 12-13, the popular €5,000 Mixed Max event, a special €3,000 Pot Limit Omaha Mixed Max event, and, of course, the €10,000 Main Event, which will run from October 19th to 25th.
One other big change for this year is that the €25,000 High Roller event will be a bracelet event. After a successful High Roller last year in Cannes, this event returns to the schedule with a bracelet on the line and with a televised final table on ESPN and Eurosport. The High Roller event is slated to begin on Tuesday, October 22 at 6 PM.
